Institute Garden
The Institute for Compassion has leased a property in the Handschuhsheim district of Heidelberg, where the aim is to enable self- and group experiences in nature with a wide variety of people.
Experiencing yourself in nature, getting active and also experiencing something together in a group can contribute to being mindful of yourself, others and nature. In the “Institute Garden”, in addition to pottering and gardening, the focus is on learning together, together and learning from each other. In addition to classic learning experiences in gardening and landscaping and healthy eating, projects in the context of wood construction and crafts are also possible.
The target groups here are primarily people with physical and mental impairments. In addition, projects in the “Institute Garden” with school classes and senior groups are possible, or the encounter between these different groups.
