Room of Silence

In cooperation with Community Heidelberg, the Institute for Compassion offers a 'Room of Silence' in Heidelberg's Weststadt.

Here, anyone passing by is invited to settle down in a protected and peaceful place and enter into their own silence.

Silence means something different for everyone. It is probably always about coming to peace with oneself and with others. The gaze automatically wanders inward.

The visit of the 'Room of Silence' is free of charge - an accompanying (voluntary and anonymous) evaluation is to ascertain what effect the stay has on the people.

The 'Room of Silence' opened in mid-April 2023.

Opening hours:

Monday and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m
